This time , I compiled with a stable version of Openwrt (Barrier Breaker) , instead of develop trunk version .
Similar to last time:
1.Supports memory over 4G .
2.Supports SMP , mulit-cores , HyperThreading up to 8 logical cores.
3.All default options of compiling , and I turn o[……]
It’s pretty easy though , I want to keep this as a log.

After googling a lot , I think I should share this script.
The purpose of this script is , to move yesterday ‘s files , into a new folder , which is named by date.
But due to the some difference between linux and freebsd/unix.
The parameters of date ,”-d” can’t be used in linux ; and The paramet[……]
In order to build a storage server , I just played around with a jbod box : supermicro 847E26_RJBOD . 847E16 is similar , just 2 ports less.
From amazon , it’s about $2000 , not bad.
Basic spec: 4u , 45 bays for 3.5 inch HDs , 4 sas ports , 1200w redundant power supply.

I need to test a JBOD box today with 45 harddrives , obviously I am not going to part and format these harddrive one by one , so I write a script.
What this script would do:
1.Using GPT to label/relabel the HD.
2.Parting the whole drive into one partition.
3.Formatting the partition into Xfs.[……]
Before I post this blog , I did search around for this function.
I still prefer a simple one , that’s why I would like to share with you.
Basically , I was using google calenda’s api.
But I am using the public feed , so I don’t need to register so called google api developer account.

I compiled an openwrt x86 build again today, which version is r41553 , pretty new.
My hardware summary: Celeron 1037u (Ivy bridge) dual cores , and 4g ram , AR9280 wifi card , dual realtek 8168 1000mbps nics.
In order to fit different situations , I compiled 2 versions:
